Description: Artists work on individual projects with the guidance of instructor and interaction with the group. Group critiques are held at the end of the session. Painting Fundamentals: Color Mixing

Description: This is a good class for beginners and artists needing a refresher and up to date information. Strongly recommended for all painters in the River's Edge Studio program. Painting the Landscape

Description: Paint on location outdoors in the Asheville area while learning techniques of Impressionism. The focus of this workshop is on preparing for outdoor painting, composition, color and painting visual impressions of light and reflections. Create small studies in oils, acrylics or pastels.
